Poynting EPNT-2 Router Enclosure with High-Gain Directional Cellular & Omni Wi-Fi Antennas

The EPNT-2 manufactured by Poynting is an outdoor clamshell-style enclosure with built-in high-gain antennas and interior space to mount a cellular router. Wireless electronics collocated with antennas enable you to create custom Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). The front half of the dome contains six antenna elements, and the rear half offers a 185 x 145 x 45 mm³ space for your LTE or 5G router, power, and other devices. The EPNT-2 uses Poynting’s Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) technology adopted from the XPOL-2-5G, which provides a cross-polarized, high-gain, directional antenna. The combination of directional cellular and omnidirectional WiFi antennas with a world-class router delivers exceptional performance and data throughput.

The 4x4 MIMO cellular directional elements, with a peak gain of 11 dBi, offer wideband coverage from 698 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 3800 MHz. The EPNT-2 is ideal for LTE and 5G implementations and provides high stability and throughput in congested and remote areas. The enclosure also hosts omnidirectional MIMO Wi-Fi antennas, covering the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 6 GHz frequencies. Of course, the IP-65 weatherproof enclosure is built tough to withstand adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
