If the product you purchased fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period, you may be eligible for a replacement, repair, or refund, excluding shipping charges. The manufacturer’s approval is required, subject to their warranty and return policies.
Returns must be accompanied by an RMA number issued by the manufacturer. Before returning an item, please complete a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Request. If the return is approved, you will receive a required RMA number from Westward Sales. Ensure the RMA number is clearly written on the return packing label or the outside of the box. Returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA number. All returned products must be in original condition and packaging; otherwise, additional charges may be applied. All packaging, documentation, accessories, and hardware originally shipped must be returned. Any missing items or damage could result in a partial forfeiture of your refund.
Approved refunds will be credited in the same form as the original payment type. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. If a product with “FREE Shipping” is returned, our actual shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Certain items are subject to a 25% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. Customers will be responsible for shipping charges on canceled orders. Customized, modified, or special-order items cannot be returned.
There are products sold by Westward Sales that are Non-Cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR). Purchase orders for these products cannot be canceled and may not be returned. Examples include Ericcsson Cradlepoint routers, Taoglas antennas, Mobile Mark antennas, special order, and customized industrial computers.
All products are backed by the manufacturer’s warranties on parts and labor, and begin from the date of the original invoice or sales receipt. Most warranty periods range from one to three years; however, there are exceptions. For example, Antaira Technologies offers a 5-year warranty on its industrial networking products, and Ericsson has a lifetime warranty for their cellular routers with an active NetCloud subscription. In addition, manufacturers often resell products, e.g., accessories, and these items are subject to their manufacturer’s warranties.
If a product fails outside of the warranty period, you may request a repair quote from the manufacturer. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required for a repair, and you will be billed for both parts and labor.
Warranty, repair, and return policies vary by manufacturer. Please visit the manufacturer’s website to download their policies or contact Westward Sales for more information.
