The rugged Ericsson Cradlepoint IBR1700 cellular router is ready for mobile, industrial, transportation, first responder, and critically demanding applications. It offers Gigabit-class LTE communication, Wave 2 dual-band dual-concurrent WiFi, and GPS. IBR1700 compatible antennas have to meet the same demands.
Router Configuration | Cellular / LTE Antennas | WiFi | GPS |
---|---|---|---|
IBR1700-1200M | 4 | 4 or 6 | 1 |
IBR1700-1200M with MC400-1200M modem | 8 | 4 or 6 | 2 |
The IBR1700 integrated with the MC400 modem option makes it highly configurable. With the IBR1700-1200M, you’ll get 2x2 MIMO LTE and simultaneous tri-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO. This model requires a minimum of nine antennas. The IBR1700 can take two MC400-1200M modems, which would require up to 16 antennas if fully populated. All IBR1700 models may be paired with one or two combo-antennas. The Australian Shepherd PTA9AS and Belgian Shepherd PRO9BS are excellent choices for supporting first responders, marine vessels, and vehicles.
Our high-quality, Ericsson Cradlepoint approved multi-antennas, also called combo-antennas, complement the IBR1700 and offer the best wireless performance possible. A combo-antenna consists of a single dome packed with multiple antenna elements. Nine elements (four cellular, four WiFi, and GPS) are most common for the IBR1700 cellular router. To mount the antennas where you need them, each comes with low-loss cables, cut to the length of your choice, with connectors that mate to the IBR1700. Mounting brackets and magnetic bases are available to secure antennas high on a pole or on a vehicle’s rooftop. These combination antennas are from top-tier manufacturers and engineered to withstand extreme environments. Most are IP65 or IP7-rated to prevent dust and water ingress.
