The Nexus Series NXD-W omnidirectional antenna from Mobile Mark provides dual-band 4x4 MIMO WiFi coverage in an ultra-low-profile radome. With four integrated WiFi antennas, each element operates within the standard 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 4.9 to 6.0 GHz frequency ranges. Compatible with the WiFi-6 specification, the NXD-W handles impressive amounts of data to support the latest high-performance access points and routers. It’s backward compatible with previous wireless specifications as well. The Wi-Fi 6, or IEEE 802.11ax, means greater bandwidth and up to 4x improved performance. It will support ultra-HD and virtual reality streams, offer greater stability, and connect more devices simultaneously.
The rugged construction and IP67 rating of the NXD-W make it ideal for industrial wireless infrastructures. Virtually vandal-proof, it will stand up to water and dust egress, extreme temperatures, vibrations, and impacts. Networking professionals specify the NXD-W to provide reliable wireless access. It may serve as a hotspot in a public space or office, connect to remote video feeds, or provide remote monitoring in transportation applications. The rugged build means it will stand up to harsh environments like those found in mining, oil and gas, and agriculture. The antenna is ground plane independent so that it may be mounted on metal or non-metallic surfaces.
