The A1811WB(S) VHF wideband antenna eliminates inter-operability and issues and ensures superior bandwidth coverage without sacrificing signal performance. The no tune wideband design eliminates the need to install multiple antennas to cover various VHF or UHF frequency bands. The wideband antenna reduces installation costs and ensure superior coverage at all desired frequencies. This antenna is available in both a solid base style (A1811WB) and shock spring style (A1811WBS) version. It has a power handling capacity of 200 watts.
These antennas use the finest corrosion resistant materials and finishes available. The base is triple plated chrome brass with a large insert molded low loss coil form and a spring loaded contact.
The large diameter coil form used in the construction of the loading coil allows for a wilder operational bandwidth and better matching characteristics than competitive models. The A1811WB(S) series features a great price to performance ratio. This base loaded antenna mates with the standard TAD/NMO type mount.
