USB is the most popular way to connect serial devices to a computer. The USB-HUB7K provides an ideal solution to expand the number of USB ports immediately. Just plug in your devices and start working.
The USB-HUB7K USB 2.0 hub is compliant to the Universal Serial Bus (USB) specification, revision 2.0 and capable of transferring data at 480 Mbps. It offers 7 downstream facing ports with standard A-type USB 2.0 connectors. Built with a Terminus FE2.1 USB 2.0 hub controller, it's backwards compatible when any downstream port is connected to a USB 1.1 compliant device. And, it operates when the upstream port is connected to a USB 1.1 compliant host.
An external 2-pin terminal block connector accepts 7 – 40V DC power (AC to DC adapter sold separately). The USB-HUB7K can also function in a bus-powered mode when not connected to an external power source. By sourcing power through USB ports, it offers a convenient way to connect low power consuming USB devices.
Due to advancements in technology and component availability, the USB-HUB7K-V2 replaced the USB-HUB7K. The phase-out notice (see Downloads tab) was effective September, 2016.
