The Ericsson Cradlepoint AER2200 cellular router is ready for demanding enterprise communications and features Gigabit-Class LTE throughput, dual-band dual-concurrent WiFi, and GPS. To achieve the best wireless performance possible, we offer high-quality, Ericsson Cradlepoint-approved multi-antennas, also called combo-antennas, to complement the AER2200. A multi-antenna consists of a single dome packed with several antenna elements. Nine elements (four cellular, four WiFi, and GPS) are the most common configuration.
Router Configuration | Cellular / LTE Antennas | WiFi | GPS |
---|---|---|---|
AER2200-1200M | 4 | 4 | 1 |
AER2200-600M | 2 | 4 | 1 |
AER2200-1200M with MC400-1200M modem | 8 | 4 | 2 |
AER2200-600M with MC400-1200M modem | 6 | 4 | 2 |
AER2200-600M with MC400LP6 modem | 4 | 4 | 2 |
Starting with the AER2200-600M, you’ll get 2x2 MIMO LTE, 4x4 MIMO WiFi, and GPS. This model requires seven antennas and can be paired with a single 7-in1 Husky PRO7H. The optional MC400 modem allows the AER2200 to be configured for a variety of networks. The AER2200 can take two MC400-1200M modems and require up to 13 antennas if fully configured. This configuration needs two combo-antennas or a single Bulldog PRO12BD if the application is indoors and GPS is not needed.
For better mounting options, each antenna comes with a set of low-loss cables in several lengths, so you can place the antennas where you need them. Mounting brackets and magnetic bases are available to secure the antenna high on a pole or on the rooftop of a vehicle. These combination antennas are from top-tier manufacturers and are built to withstand extreme environments. Most are IP65 or IP7-rated to prevent dust and water ingress. Of course, all are Ericsson Cradlepoint-approved for the AER2200 router.
