The DGS-1210-10MPP is a NDAA compliant High Powered PoE switch designed for businesses of all sizes. It's optimized for IP surveillance with support for Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras, automatic Surveillance VLAN, and 6kV surge protection on all PoE ports. It supports 802.3bt, allowing up to 90 watts per port, and comes with features like an alarm port, a smart fan design for optimal cooling without excessive noise and surveillance traffic optimization. Additionally, the DSS-200G-10MPP offers auto-detection for ONVIF devices, built-in SNMP MIB, and easy deployment with automatic configuration.

An interactive setup wizard removes the complexity from installing the switch for the first time. It allows you to choose the web interface mode (Standard or Surveillance), the IP address allocation method (static or DHCP), and the administrator user name and password. This completes the initial setup of the switch and automatically configures features such as Loop Detection, SNMP and Surveillance VLAN. The Surveillance VLAN feature automatically detects surveillance devices and puts them into the Surveillance VLAN, segmenting their traffic from the rest of the network. The feature enhances the security of the data. It gives the traffic a higher priority through the switch, reducing the chances of the video freezing or being delayed on live streams. A single button can be used for surveillance and data networks, removing the need for dedicated surveillance hardware and reducing maintenance costs.
