The DGS-1100-05PDV2 supports PoE pass-through on ports 1 and 2, providing up to 18W of power with 802.3at input or 8W with 802.3af, ideal for driving PoE devices like IP cameras and VoIP phones without the need for additional power sources. With bandwidth control, QoS, VLAN support, and IGMP Snooping, this switch optimizes network performance and minimizes congestion. It ensures smooth operation of critical voice and video applications. It does not include a power adapter and must be powered using IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet by connecting it to a PoE switch or injector. (802.3at 30W recommended.) This allows for more flexible installation in remote areas with no readily available power outlets.
