An M12 data connector is secure and stable; however, there are times when you need to plug it into a conventional connector.  That’s where the CB-M12X8PM-10CM cable comes in handy.  It converts M12 to a standard RJ45 Ethernet connector.  Antaira Technologies offers it as an accessory for their LNP-0800G-M12-67-24 rugged Gigabit Ethernet switch which uses eight M12 connectors for the PoE ports.  It’s ideal for test and development situations when you need to attach to a network with RJ45 connectors.  The CB-M12X8PM-10CM cable has one M12 X-Coded 8-pole male on one end and an RJ45 socket on the other.  It is 10 centimeters in length.
