The Semtech (Sierra Wireless) AirLink MP70 is an advanced, high-performance LTE cellular router developed explicitly for mission-critical vehicle applications in public safety, transportation, and field services. It enables your enterprise network and field applications to communicate with mobile fleets at further distances and faster speeds than ever before. The LTE-Advanced Pro model, with carrier aggregation and wide area network (WAN) functions, provides Cat 12 performance (600 Mbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink). The MP70 router is perfect for data-intensive operations like streaming high-definition real-time video feeds, license plate recognition, and public WiFi for passengers. As a FirstNet Ready™ device, it supports 700 MHz Band 14 and offers prioritization and pre-emption for emergency services and first responders.
Engineered for mobile operations, the Semtech AirLink MP70 delivers excellent reliability and continuous operation in demanding environments. The MP70, with advanced insight and remote visibility, offers a secure connection to a vehicle area network (VAN), field assets, and members of your mobile workforce. It offers connected vehicle awareness using a next-generation precision GPS module, secure communications, and network management. The MP70 integrates various communication interfaces like long-range Gigabit Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11ac compatible with 3x3 MIMO antennas), four Gigabit Ethernet ports, an efficient cellular link with dual SIMs, vehicle telemetry, general-purpose I/O, and serial.
Network Management solutions for the AirLink MP70 allow remote monitoring, registration, configuration, and software updates. These tools may be deployed in a cloud-based service or in the enterprise data center to provide a centralized and remote view of an entire fleet of vehicles deploying MP70 routers.

Enable your MP70 with a cost-effective monthly data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. Select Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T, and the data plan size from 100 MB to Unlimited GB. You are billed monthly; there’s no long-term contract. Plus, manage all of your fielded gateways from a single cloud-based web portal.
You can purchase a SIM card from this page. It will be mailed to you in 2 to 3 business days. After you receive your card, sign up for a data plan at Mobility Help Desk. The set up instructions are on this page.

The Semtech AirLink MP70 with WiFi requires six external antennas - 2 LTE, 3 WiFi, and GPS. On the Accessories tab or the MP70 antenna page you’ll find a list of Semtech approved antennas made for the MP70 router.
