The advanced AirLink MP70 LTE cellular router enables public safety vehicles, transportation fleets, and field services to communicate over wireless networks at long distances and fast speeds. Demanding applications like these require reliable and robust antennas. AirLink antennas from Semtech are carefully matched to the MP70 to provide high-performance connectivity over cellular and WiFi networks. The MP70 offers two basic configurations – 1.) MIMO LTE, 3x3 MIMO WiFi, and GPS, and 2.) MIMO LTE, no WiFi, and GPS.
MP70 Configuration | Cellular Antennas | WiFi | GPS |
---|---|---|---|
Cat 12 and WiFi (1104073) | 2 | 3 | 1 |
Cat 12, no WiFi (1104071) | 2 | 0 | 1 |
Multi-antennas, or combination antennas, combine two or more antenna elements into a single, rugged dome. A 6-in-1 multi-antenna is a popular configuration for the MP70 router.
It consists of six antennas – two cellular, three WiFi, and one GPS. For MP70 configurations without WiFi, a 3-in-1 MIMO cellular (Main and Aux) with GPS is a great choice. All AirLink antennas include 3 to 5 meter long low-loss RF cables. Optional mounting brackets and magnetic bases are available so you can secure the MP70 AirLink antenna in a location with the strongest signal.
The MP70 has Main and Aux cellular connections. Two cellular antennas will achieve the best bandwidth and performance; however, you may connect a single antenna to Main in areas of solid cellular signal. AirLink antennas support North American carriers plus CBRS, Private LTE, and FirstNet bands.
Omnidirectional AirLink antennas for the MP70 are available in dome, panel, shark fin, and paddle styles. Most MP70 antennas are certified to IP65 or IP67 to prevent dust and water ingress and feature a wide operating temperature. Whether your application is mobile or stationary, you’ll find one that will improve reliability, boost throughput, and stand up to the abuse of mobile and outdoor conditions. AirLink antennas are serviced and supported by Semtech and include a 3-year warranty.
