The Newfoundland PRO9N4L4WG hotspot case from Parsec Technologies combined with a cellular router creates an emergency or temporary mobile hotspot device in remote areas or locations lacking quality cellular signals. It integrates a set of high-performance antennas into the lid of a protective hotspot carry case. The case protects against damage and loss of performance due to hard use. In addition, it deploys quickly in the field to create an ideal portable communication device for emergency responders, military agencies, medical professionals, and rescue units.
The 5G-ready cellular antennas operate on frequencies from 600 MHz to 6 GHz and may serve as the primary communication channel or secondary failover channel. The case contains nine antennas – four cellular, four Wi-Fi, and GNSS. Both sets of LTE and Wi-Fi hotspot antennas are optimized to boost performance in remote, unforgiving areas.
The PRO9N4L4WG supports a rechargeable battery and direct AC power. An optional fan and exhaust port help keep the portable router and electronics cool in extreme heat. The built-in antennas are compatible with the thick plastic walls in the lid. The Newfoundland is sold in a standard antenna format or loaded with a router baseplate, battery tray, top cover, and I/O cables. Just add a compatible router, SIM card, and optional battery to complete the portable communication system. Contact Westward Sales to order a turn-key system. The Newfoundland fits the Ericsson Cradlepoint AER2200 and IBR1700-1200M cellular routers. This case is also available with 8x8 MIMO LTE and GPS allowing for simultaneous operation of dual SIM’s. Working remotely has been an emerging trend in recent years. While many of us still continue to work from one specific location, mobile workers have now become a critical factor in employment decisions, thanks to the digital revolution and the transformation of our economy. A mobile workforce isn’t limited by a central physical location and is instead connected by different types of mobile technology. It is natural for technology companies to deliver devices that are more portable, affordable, and easy to set up.
Mobile hotspot cases are an example of this rapid evolution in technology. Battery-powered and standalone, these mobile hotspot cases can connect to the Internet via a 4G or 5G network through their multiple antennas and are easy to deploy.
Portable mobile hotspot cases support the latest generation wireless networks. The entire Newfoundland family, including the PRO9N, is perfect for critical portable communication system applications requiring reliability, high performance, and easy deployment. Install a wireless router, battery, and cables to complete the system.
However, for a complete turnkey hotspot, consider the WSH line of hotspots from Westward Sales. We integrate an Ericsson Cradlepoint or Semtech cellular router into the PRO9N antenna case and add AC power or a rechargeable battery and cabling. It’s fully assembled, tested, and ready to deploy! Ask about our managed data plans with an activated SIM card, which enables true plug-and-play operation. Contact Westward Sales to see how a 5G-ready hotspot can boost your mobile communications.
