Parsec PRO9MD (Bernese Mountain Dog) Mobile Hotspot Case for Ericsson Cradlepoint Routers

The Bernese Mountain Dog PRO9MD6L2WG case antenna system from Parsec Technologies is a high-performance portable communication device in the form of a rugged hotspot. It’s ideal for emergency services, rescue units, remote areas, and locations with inadequate cellular coverage. With a set of high-performance antennas built into the lid of a protective, waterproof carrying case, it stands up to rugged outdoor conditions without losing performance. In addition, the PRO9MD antenna accommodates several cellular routers (sold separately), which mount to the base plate.

The PRO9MD is equipped with nine antennas. The six 5G LTE antennas support the simultaneous operation of two independent LTE modems, one with 4x4 MIMO and one with 2x2 MIMO. The highly efficient omnidirectional cellular antennas work with North American LTE bands from 617 MHz to 6000 MHz and support CBRS and LAA networks. The PRO9MD provides GPS and 2x2 MIMO WiFi 6 antennas compatible with the latest IEEE 802.11ax specification.

The PRO9MD’s performance is equaled by its toughness. The rugged IP67-rated carrying case is unaffected by severe temperatures, water, dust, and abuse. Power, USB, and Ethernet cables connect to waterproof circular connectors mounted on the side of the case. The portable communication system offers a choice of battery or AC power input. With the addition of a cellular router, such as Ericsson Cradlepoint's IBR900 Gigabit-Class LTE router, you’ll create a complete portable wifi hotspot for mobile operations. This system is also compatible with the Max BR1-5G (Embedded 4G LTE Automatic Failover Router) from Peplink Works. Contact Westward Sales for turnkey, integrated systems.

Mobile and Fully Assembled Hotspots

Working remotely has been an emerging trend in recent years. While many of us still continue to work from one specific location, mobile workers have now become a critical factor in employment decisions, thanks to the digital revolution and the transformation of our economy. A mobile workforce isn’t limited by a central physical location and is instead connected by different types of mobile technology. It is natural for technology companies to deliver devices that are more portable, affordable, and easy to set up.

Mobile hotspot cases are an example of this rapid evolution in technology. Battery-powered and standalone, these mobile hotspot cases can connect to the Internet via a 4G or 5G network through their multiple antennas and are easy to deploy.

Our portable case antennas implement the latest generation of 5G, LTE, CBRS, LTE LAA, and WiFi technology for creating a mobile hotspot, portable office, or portable communication system. The PRO9MB offers reliability, high performance, and quick deployment; however, it’s only a starting point.

For a finished, turnkey hotspot, consider the WSH line of hotspots from Westward. We integrate an Ericsson Cradlepoint cellular router, PRO9MB antenna system, AC power or rechargeable battery pack, and all cabling. It’s fully assembled, tested, and ready to deploy! Ask about our managed data plans, which includes a SIM card that enables instant operation. Speak with Westward Sales to see how a 5G-ready case antenna will boost your mobile communications.
