It’s perfect for establishing cellular coverage in remote or congested areas where the signal is low or compromised. It makes an ideal mobile hotspot for temporary applications such as streaming camera feeds, instant broadband, traffic monitoring, events and shows, and construction sites.

The rugged antenna case offers 8x8 MIMO LTE, 4x4 MIMO Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), and GPS elements integrated into the lid that connect an Ericsson Cradlepoint E3000 cellular router with an MC400 secondary modem. The router and battery are mounted beneath the top panel. The standard configuration comes with an internal 12 VDC rechargeable battery for true mobility. One model is powered by 110 VAC and available by request. The impact-resistant and water-resistant carrying case is ideal for moving to and from locations, as it protects against rough handling and outdoor conditions.

Components

The portable case comes fully wired and configured. All you need is a SIM card and an active data plan*. The system includes the E3000 cellular router, MC400 modem, high-performance antennas, a rugged carrying case, internal cabling, and a rechargeable battery.

Enable your WSH13N-3000 with a cost-effective monthly data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. Select Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T, and the data plan size from 100 MB to Unlimited GB. You are billed monthly; there’s no long-term contract. Plus, manage all of your fielded gateways from a single cloud-based web portal.

Operation

The WSH13N-3000 is preconfigured for rapid deployment. To get started, fully charge the battery. The portable communication system will operate while the battery charger is connected to AC power. A current NetCloud subscription and Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile data plan are necessary.

1. Unclasp the latches and open the case
2. Insert your SIM into the router by removing the screws on the cover and 4 screws for the router to access the SIM slot.
3. Open the fan and air exhaust caps
4. Press the power button on the top panel
5. The E3000 router will connect to a cellular network and establish an Internet connection
6. Connect devices such as laptops, phones, and tablets to the WiFi or Ethernet port (two available).
