For reliable backup power with industrial-grade quality, engineers turn to Falcon Electric's SC Series for their UPS needs. One member of the SC Series is the SG3K - a true online UPS offering up to 3000 VA and 2700 watts of capacity. It’s built solidly into a tower form factor. To reduce costs, the SG3K offers a standard operating temperature and a 5-year battery. Although it’s the lower-cost version of the heavy-industrial SSG3K UPS tower, it doesn’t sacrifice dependability.

The SG3K implements true-online backup power via a dual-conversion architecture. It first converts the incoming AC power input to DC; then, it converts it back AC. This design offers two important benefits. First, it creates a perfectly smooth and programmable sinewave output. Second, it isolates the electronic devices attached to the UPS from power transients and irregularities. If the mains power fails, the batteries instantly feed the load with zero time delay. The UPS also includes power factor correction, surge suppression, high efficiency, and voltage regulation. You have a choice of two models: 120 VAC input (SG3K-1SC) or 230 VAC (SG3K-2SC). The large front panel LCD provides easy system setup and configuration. Monitor the UPS internal status remotely using the USB, RS-232, or optional Ethernet interfaces. The SG3K operates with 50 and 60 Hz AC frequencies.
