Falcon Electric’s new generation optional Net Agent BA506 card facilitates secure remote UPS monitoring, management and computer shutdown over any Ethernet LAN, Enterprise Network or the Internet. The Net Agent BA506 Agent is compatible with Falcon’s SC and FN2 UPS models. Easy installation automatically assigns IP address via DHCP or it is manually configurable via a supplied discovery tool. It works with multiple protocols including NMS, SSH, SNMP and includes MIB support. The BA506 provides utility power and UPS event outages, UPS operating modes and status by email notification. It monitors the utility power, UPS output, battery voltage and much more with the integrated data logging that can be exported for analysis. It also has a remote shutdown capability that supports a safe shutdown of multiple workstations or servers during prolonged power outages.
