The Semtech (Sierra Wireless) AirLink LX60 is a compact LTE cellular router with Cat 4 or LTE-M/NB-IoT performance engineered for mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. This router is offered in two variants, the Cat 4 and the NB-IoT. The router allows for IoT devices to connect directly to a network, offering a secure cellular connection, network management, routing, and data processing at the network’s edge. The LX60 provides reliable connectivity for data-critical applications like security and surveillance, point-of-sale terminals, digital signage, kiosks, vehicles like taxis, and industrial applications.
The LX60 delivers excellent reliability and continuous operation. It can operate as a low-cost primary WAN connection or be set up as a backup WAN and automatically failover should the primary link go down. Available with optional dual-band WiFi (IEEE 802.11ac compatible), the Semtech AirLink LX60 functions as an access point or hotspot. With GPS for location tracking, low-voltage power input, and an accelerometer, the LX60 satisfies the connectivity demands of most commercial vehicle fleets.
As a member of the AirLink Essential family, the LX60 meets the environmental and performance requirements of vital wireless networks. It’s available in an LTE Cat 4 model compatible with the major North American cellular carriers. You can also choose the LPWA (Low-Power Wide-Area) model offering LTE-M/NB-IoT for projects needing low data rates, broad cellular coverage, and global deployment.
Semtech offers a complete portfolio of tools to manage and monitor your routers. Their tools, packaged in a subscription-based plan, includes security, remote management of deployed routers, location-based services, and Tier 1 technical support.

Enable your Semtech AirLink LX60 with a cost-effective monthly data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. Select Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T, and the data plan size from 100 MB to Unlimited GB. You are billed monthly; there’s no long-term contract. Plus, manage all of your fielded gateways from a single cloud-based web portal.
