High-Performance Antennas Certified for the MG90 Routers

The AirLink MG90 LTE cellular router provides wireless communication for emergency vehicles, public transportation, and critical mobile operations. It delivers massive amounts of real-time data over cellular networks at long distances and incredible speeds. The MG90 is available in three configurations – 5G, LTE-A PRO (Cat 12), and LTE-A (Cat 6).

Demanding mobile applications like these require reliable and high-performance antennas. Omnidirectional AirLink antennas from Semtech are carefully matched to the MG90 to achieve stable connectivity over dual cellular and dual WiFi networks.

They come in dome, panel, shark fin, and paddle styles. Certified to IP65 or IP67 to prevent dust and water ingress and featuring a wide operating temperature, rugged MG90 antennas stand up to continuous use in outdoor conditions. Optional mounting brackets, magnetic bases, and 3 to 5-meter long low-loss RF cables allow you to install the MG90 AirLink antenna in the best location. MG90 5G Antenna Configuration

The MG90 5G is equipped with four cellular antenna connections configured at the time of purchase as a single 4x4 MIMO cellular radio (p/n 1104708) or twin 2x2 MIMO cellular radios (1104709). In addition, the MG90 5G includes two 3x3 MIMO Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth antenna elements. With a maximum of twelve antennas, various multi-antennas are available to accommodate these connections. For example, the 8-in-1 6001344 antenna provides 4×4 LTE, 3×3 Wi-Fi, and GPS and is an excellent choice for the MG90 5G router with the single 4×4 cellular radio. A second 3-in-1 WiFi antenna (6001199 or 6001283) and Bluetooth antennas complete the package.

MG90 LTE Antenna Configuration

The LTE version of MG90 may be configured with one or two 2x2 MIMO antenna pairs (Main and Diversity). The popular 6001363 6-in-1 Antenna (2 LTE, 3 Wi-Fi, and GNSS) connects to the primary LTE radio and Wi-Fi A. A 3-in-1 antenna (2×LTE, 1×GNSS) like the 6001119 and a 2-in-1 antenna (2×LTE) like the 6001120 may be used for the second radio.
