The Proxim ORiNOCO® AP-9200R is an outdoor-rated high-performance wireless WiFi access point designed for large-scale enterprise networks. It operates on the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards, providing Wave 2 performance and reliable, secure connectivity for users in a wide range of environments.
With a maximum data rate of 1 Gbps and dual-band support, the AP-9200R can easily handle high throughput applications such as video streaming and large file transfers. It features advanced security features, including WPA2 Enterprise, MAC address filtering, and VPN support, ensuring that sensitive data is always protected. In addition, it features a 2.4 GHz radio with 3x3 MIMO and a 4x4 MIMO 5 GHz radio delivering up to 2 Gbps aggregate data rate and unparalleled flexibility.
The AP-9200R is easy to deploy and manage, with a user-friendly web interface and support for centralized management through ProximVision and Proxim BlueConnect smartphone configurator. It also supports multiple SSIDs, allowing different user groups to access the network with additional security and access policies.
In addition to its wireless capabilities, the AP-9200R also features a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices to the network and an optional external antenna connector for increased coverage. Furthermore, the rugged and weather-resistant enclosure makes it suitable for use in outdoor and industrial environments.
