Antaira DTD-360-0953-T Industrial Power Booster from 9 - 36 VDC Input to 53 VDC Output

Antaira Technologies’ DTD-360-0953-T is a DIN Rail mounted DC/DC converter that takes the low voltage power source common in many control cabinets and boosts the output to 53 VDC which can be used for standard PoE applications. It provides up to 360 watts of power. The metal housing is IP30 rated and the unit has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C. It is ideal for applications like automation, security or transportation where rugged, reliable products are required.

This product is ideal for applications where only 12-24 volts of DC power is available but 48 to 52 VDC is required to operate. This type of application can be found in indusrial PoE devices that are being used in Automation, Automotive and even solar applications. In automation, it is common to have 24 VDC power available in the panel. While many Antaira industrial PoE switches have the ability use 24 VDC as input power and boost that power up to 48-52 VDC that is used for the PoE standard, some larger port industrial switches do not have internal power boosters. The DTD-360-0953-T can be the external booster to work with the larger port count Ethernet switches as well as with other products that may also require higher voltage.

For applications that involve using PoE products, such as on buses or other automotive applications, the DTD-360-0953-T will not only boost power in the same way as the automation applications but also clean up the power that may be dirty from old alternators or other electronics on the same circuit.

While the unit is not a substitute for a solar panel power regulator, it can help boost the power from a 12 or 24 volt DC battery power storage to a more useful 48-52 VDC that is compatible with other electronic devices such as laptops.
