Proxim GX60 Point to Point Radio, Access Point, or Station - AES256, IP67 Enclosure

The Proxim GX60 is an outdoor multi-gigabit radio platform that delivers high-performance connectivity at a fraction of the cost of fiber infrastructure. It serves as a cost-effective alternative for applications like video surveillance backhaul, smart city infrastructure, and high-capacity fixed access. It operates in the unlicensed 60 GHz band (57-71 GHz). Providing up to 2 Gbps throughput in both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint topologies, the GX60 includes an integrated 90° beam-forming antenna for easy alignment. It can be paired with optional antenna kits to focus the directionality of the integrated antenna.

The unlicensed 60 GHz band offers 14 GHz of largely unused spectrum, enabling multi-gigabit data rates for high-capacity fixed access to homes, businesses, infrastructure, smart cities, and public Wi-Fi. Multiple Ethernet ports ensure that wireless data is fully distributed to the network.

The GX60 can dynamically redirect traffic to its second Ethernet port when radio link performance degrades, enabling backup of the 60 GHz link with another radio such as the Stratum series.

The rugged, reliable GX5 uses an IP67-rated outdoor enclosure designed to withstand winds up to 180 km/h. It features a compact 5 x 5 x 2 in. (13 x 13 x 5.5 cm) enclosure that blends easily into urban environments, making it ideal for applications such as surveillance and public safety.
