Outfitted with an R1900 LTE router and high-performance antennas, this carrying case acts as an industrial wifi hotspot delivering high speed internet connectivity through cellular and WiFi for users in the field. It’s perfect for establishing cellular coverage in remote or congested areas where the signal is low or compromised. It makes an ideal mobile hotspot for temporary applications such as streaming camera feeds, instant broadband, traffic monitoring, events and shows, and construction sites.

The rugged antenna case offers 4x4 MIMO 5G LTE, 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), GPS, and Bluetooth elements integrated into the lid. A Cradlepoint R1900 cellular router is mounted underneath the top panel and connects to the eight antennas with short low-loss cables. The standard configuration comes with an internal 12 VDC rechargeable battery for true mobility. One powered by 110 VAC is available by request. The impact and water-resistant carrying case is ideal for moving to and from locations as it protects against rough handling and outdoor conditions.

Components

The portable case come fully wired and configured. All you need to do is provide a SIM card and an active data plan*. The system includes the R1900 cellular router, high-performance antennas, a rugged carrying case, internal cabling, and a rechargeable battery for power.

Operation

The WSH8MD-R190 is preconfigured for rapid deployment. To get started, fully charge the battery. The portable communication system will operate while the battery charger is connected to AC power. A current NetCloud subscription and Verizon or AT&T data plan are necessary.

1. Unclasp the latches and open the case
2. Insert your SIM into the router by removing 16 screws on the cover and 4 screws for the router to access the SIM slot.
3. Open the fan and air exhaust caps
4. Press the power button on the top panel
5. The R1900 router will connect to a cellular network and establish an Internet connection
6. Connect devices such as laptops, phones, and tablets to the WiFi or Ethernet port (two available).
