The GPSD-6-60-QW Sharkee combo-antenna brings reliable 5G LTE and WiFi communication to industrial, public safety, and transportation applications. With an aerodynamic shark fin dome and multiple antenna functions, the Sharkee is the most advanced 5G LTE antenna for mobile cellular routers such as the IBR family from Ericsson Cradlepoint.
The wideband MIMO cellular antennas support the 5G LTE spectrum from 617 to 6000 MHz and operate with LTE band 71 (617 to 698 MHz). High efficiency provides 12 dB of isolation and 5 to 9 dBi peak gain depending on the frequency. The GPSD-6-60-QW also includes 4x4 MIMO WiFi 6 elements which support 2.4, 5.0, and 7.1 GHz networks. The GNSS module with advanced noise filtering works with GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo satellite systems. In addition, there is a mounting stud for attaching an external VHF, UHF, or 700/800 MHz whip antenna. A supplied blanking cap covers the stud when a whip antenna is not required.
The heavy-duty dome, constructed from plastic for extra durability and long life, includes a bottom gasket for reliable sealing and conductive pads for superior grounding. The antenna does not require a ground plane, and it may be installed on a metallic or non-metallic surface with no significant impact on the antenna’s overall RF performance. The radome and cables mount through a single hole drilled into a vehicle's roof or trunk lid, and it is slim enough to fit between the roof rib lines of most major vehicles. The GPSD-6-60-QW is IP69K certified, assuring it withstands water and dust for safe outdoor operation.
