The SHKG-6-60-TW Sharkee multi-antenna offers high-performance 5G LTE to transportation and industrial applications. It’s ideal for fire trucks, police cars, emergency services, and public buses. The Sharkee series is the most advanced 5G LTE antenna for mobile cellular routers and is compatible with Cradlepoint and Sierra Wireless models.

Six antennas are integrated into a single, rugged sharkfin-style radome. The ultra-wideband 2x2 MIMO cellular elements operate on all global 5G LTE frequencies (617 to 6000 MHz), including LTE band 71 (617 to 698 MHz). The cellular antennas are highly efficient with greater than 12 dB isolation, and they offer 5 to 9 dBi peak gain depending on the frequency. In addition, the SHKG-6-60-TW features 3x3 MIMO WiFi 6, supporting 2.4, 5.0, and 7.1 GHz wireless networks. The GPS/GNSS element has advanced noise filtering and works with GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo positioning systems.

The rugged dome is manufactured from heavy-duty plastic for extra reliability. It includes a boot-mounted gasket for excellent sealing and conductive pads on the underside for superior grounding. It may be placed on a metallic or non-metallic surface, and there’s no compromising the antenna’s RF performance if it cannot be tied to a ground plane. The dome’s hollow bolt mounts through a single hole drilled in the vehicle roof and is slim enough to fit between the roof rib lines of most major vehicles. The SHKG-6-60-TW carries a stringent IP69K test certificate, assuring it repels water and dust for safe outdoor operation.

The antenna includes 1-foot RF cables; however, this length is often too short for most installations, particularly vehicles. So for longer cables, consider the SH-IN2618 antenna kit which includes this SHKG-6-60-TW antenna and 5-meter long cables (one cable for each antenna element) terminating with SMA connectors.
