The GP-IN2624 Sharkee antenna offers multiple antenna functions to meet the performance and efficiency demanded by public safety, industrial, and transportation networks. Five elements - MIMO cellular, MIMO WiFi, GPS, plus a mount for optional VHF or UHF radio – are integrated into a compact, aerodynamic shark fin dome. The rugged surface-mount design makes it ideal for the rooftops of emergency vehicles, vans, and trucks.
The wideband MIMO cellular antenna elements operate over the 5G spectrum from 617 to 6000 MHz, including LTE band 71 (617 to 698 MHz). The high efficiency provides better than 12 dB of isolation and up to 9 dBi peak gain depending on the frequency. The MIMO WiFi 6 antennas support 2.4, 5.0, and 7.1 GHz networks, whereas the GNSS module offers advanced noise filtering and works with GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo satellite systems. In addition, there is a mounting stud on the backside of the radome for attaching an external VHF, UHF, or 700/800 MHz whip antenna. A supplied blanking cap covers the stud when a whip antenna is not required.
The GP-IN2624 is a kit containing a GPSD-6-60-DW antenna and a complete set of extension cables. The 5-meter long low-loss cables are double shielded, terminating with SMA plugs for the cellular and GPS connections and RP-SMA plugs for the WiFi. The UHF or VHF whip antenna and cable are sold separately
