The GPSD-6-60-DW Sharkee multi-antenna brings reliable 5G LTE communication to industrial, public safety, and transportation applications. The aerodynamic shark fin design provides multiple antenna functions, making it perfect for police cars, emergency services vehicles, trucking fleets, and mass transit buses. The Sharkee is the most advanced 5G LTE antenna for mobile cellular routers and is compatible with the many Cradlepoint models.

The wideband MIMO cellular antenna elements operate over the 5G LTE spectrum (617 to 6000 MHz), including LTE band 71 (617 to 698 MHz). The high efficiency provides better than 12 dB of isolation and 5 to 9 dBi peak gain depending on the frequency. The GPSD-6-60-DW includes MIMO WiFi 6 supporting 2.4, 5.0, and 7.1 GHz networks. The GPS/GNSS module with advanced noise filtering works with GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and Galileo satellite systems. In addition, there is an integral stud for mounting an external VHF, UHF, or 700/800 MHz whip antenna. A blanking cap is supplied when a whip antenna is not required.

The rugged dome is constructed from heavy-duty plastic for extra durability and long life. It includes a bottom gasket for reliable sealing and conductive pads for superior grounding. It may be installed on a metallic or non-metallic surface with no significant impact on the antenna’s overall RF performance if it cannot be tied to a ground plane. The radome mounts through a single hole drilled into a vehicle roof or trunk lid and is slim enough to fit between the roof rib lines of most major vehicles. The GPSD-6-60-DW is IP69K certified, assuring it withstands water and dust for safe operation outdoors.

The antenna includes 1-foot RF cables; however, this length is often too short for most installations, particularly vehicles. So for longer cables, consider the GP-IN2624 antenna kit which includes this GPSD-6-60-DW antenna and 5-meter long cables (one cable for each antenna element) terminating with SMA/RP-SMA connectors.
