Should a line break or inadequate wireless coverage drop the primary communication link, automatic link-layer detection will switch to a secondary backup link. SIM failover, PPP layer detection, and self-recovery add to reliability and stability. The IR305 offers strong security protection with VPN, packet inspection, intrusion detection, ACL, filtering, and binding.

A full range of InHand management tools makes network deployment quick and straightforward. InHand Device Manager is a cloud platform offering remote monitoring, configuration, and management of hundreds of devices. You may set up a VPN tunnel between the client and a field controller, e.g., SCADA, upload software updates, remotely diagnose issues, and more.
