The InGateway502 (IG502) is equipped with the hardware required for full-scale IoT edge computing, including a high-performance ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 600 MHz, high capacity DDR3 RAM up to 512MB and 8 GB eMMC Flash, which give the gateway powerful edge computing capability, providing computing resources for data optimization, real-time response, agile connection, and intelligent analysis on edge nodes.

Designed for high-performance edge computing applications, IG502 provides data optimization, real-time response, agile connection and intelligent analysis on the IoT edge.With the support for multiple industrial protocols and major IoT cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, InGateway502 is optimized for edge computing applications in the solar power, water and wastewater, oil and gas, and factory automation sectors.

To adapt to the broadly diversified IoT industry, the IG502 is compatible with multiple major real-time Ethernet protocols and industrial fieldbuses, including Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, ISO on TCP, etc., which makes it widely applied in industrial IoT. The IG502 features extensive interfaces including digital I/O, Wi-Fi, GPS, and serial ports to accommodate a wide range of industrial applications.

The InGateway502 has been certified by UL and UL- C1D2 (class 1 division 2 hazardous locations). With these two certifications, they assure the InGateway502 is explosion proof and its operation safety can be ensured in potentially hazardous environments, including oil & gas, electric power and chemical industries or areas that any inflammable materials/combustibles may exist.

High-Performance Antenna Options

The InHand IG502 includes one 3G or 4G antenna with a magnetic base and RF cable. Optional dipole antennas are available for free by selecting the checkbox above. For mobile and industrial applications, consider a high-performance antenna.
