The InRouter912 (IR912) industrial-grade cellular router from InHand Networks features state-of-the-art routing functions and reliable, secure communications for remote systems. It is ideal for machine-to-machine (M2M), Internet of Things (IoT), utilities, automation, transportation, and kiosk applications. It is certified with AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile carriers. With full Layer 3 routing, it is capable of efficient network deployment and management.
The IR912 is equipped with two SIM slots for 3G / 4G LTE redundancy and two Fast Ethernet ports. The IR912 offers uninterrupted communication and uptime for critical networks. With its link detection and recovery, communication is automatically switched to a secondary link should the primary one fail. Complete security protects and safeguards data against unauthorized users. It supports VPN protocols, a firewall, multi-level authorization, stateful packet inspection, access control list, intrusion protection, authorization control, and more. RIP and OSPF dynamic routing enable quick network deployment. With the InHand Device Manager, you may configure and manage multiple remote cellular routers from any location.
The InHand OpenDevice programming environment allows software developers to customize applications with Python scripting. It includes InHand’s SDK, API library, and programming resources. OpenDevice simplifies development and reduces the time to get your system operational. And, the IR912 is certified with Microsoft Azure IoT. These tools are included with the IR912.
The IR912 is built to endure outdoor and harsh factory conditions. The fanless metal case and high-quality electronics offer an operating temperature range from -25 to 70°C. The IR912 meets heavy industrial specifications for power surge, electrical noise and interference, electrostatic discharge, shock, and vibration. DIN-rail and wall mounting brackets allow easy installation into small cabinets and enclosures.
Enable your IR912 with a cost-effective monthly data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. Select Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T, and the data plan size from 100 MB to Unlimited GB. You are billed monthly; there’s no long-term contract. Plus, manage all of your fielded gateways from a single cloud-based web portal.
