The true online SG1.5K-1SC implements a dual-conversion architecture whereby the AC input signal is converted to DC then converted back to AC. This technique offers two important benefits: it outputs a perfect sinewave and isolates the load from power input transients. When the primary power source fails, the batteries instantly feed the load with zero transfer time delay. The UPS operates on a 120 VAC input, and its internal electronics include power factor correction, surge suppression, voltage regulation, and high efficiency. Set up is simple and quick using the convenient front panel LCD. System status may be remotely accessed using USB, RS-232, or optional Ethernet interfaces. The SG1.5K-1SC supports both 50 and 60 Hz AC frequencies.
