The Ericsson Cradlepoint RX30-POE managed accessory dock mounts to the R1900 5G cellular router to provide four (4) additional Gigabit PoE ports. It’s a perfect way to connect Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices to the R1900. The RX30 is rugged and suited for mobile and industrial environments where temperature extremes, irregular power, shock, and vibration are common. The 6-pin GPIO and power cable, included in the box, supplies power to both the RX30 managed accessory and the R1900 router attached to it.
Connecting the RX30 and R1900 is straightforward. Align the port to the receiver on the RX30 and set the R1900 on top of it. The RX30 receiver is keyed and will align with the port in only one direction. Reposition the R1900 until the two devices sit flush against each other. Secure the devices with the M3 screws, which go into the middle holes on the front and rear.
