Ericsson Cradlepoint RX20-MC Accessory Dock with Modular Modem Slot for the R920 Router

The Ericsson Cradlepoint RX20-MC managed accessory is compact and ruggedized for use with the R920 Series Ruggedized Router. The RX20-MC includes both a modular modem expansion slot which provides the ability to add a second LTE or 5G modem for dual carrier connectivity and an RS-232 port for connecting serial devices.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint RX20 is built tough for mobile and industrial environments where temperature extremes, irregular power, shock, and vibration are common. The 6-pin GPIO cable port supplies power to both the RX20 managed accessory and the R920 router attached to it.

Connecting the RX20 and R920 is straightforward. Align the port to the receiver on the RX20-MC and set the R920 on top of it. The receiver is keyed and will align with the port in one direction. Reposition the R920 until the two devices sit flush against each other. Secure the devices with the M3 screws, which go into the middle holes on the front and rear.
