The 3.5" embedded board is created in an architecture of low power consumption with reliability required for various applications in rugged environments. Featured here is the CAPA841 which is equipped with the 22nm process Intel Atom processor E3800 family (Bay Trail). This system-on-chip (SoC) incorporates up to four cores and supports system memory DDR3L-1066/1333 SO-DIMM maximum up to 8 GB. This small form factor CAPA841 is capable of operating under wide temperatures from -40°C to +75°C in fanless operation, which allows customers to design systems in rugged environments. Moreover, it comes with multiple display outputs: HDMI, LVDS and VGA with dual-view supported. With integrated Intel Gen 7 graphics, up to 792MHz in turbo, visual experiences are enhanced, including faster media processing, full HD over HDMI, spectacular HD playback, and more.

Axiomtek’s CAPA841, 3.5-inch embedded board features the Intel Atom processor E3800 family. Customers can enjoy the advantage of good thermal design to running it in wide temperatures from -40°C to +75°C in fanless operation. The rich I/O connections offer flexible machine-to-machine connections and the two PCI express mini cards are useful for network connection. The CAPA841 comes with advanced connectivity including four serial ports two of which can be RS-232/422/485 in BIOS selectable with +5V/+12V powered, four high-speed USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports with Intel i210IT Gigabit Ethernet controllers, HD audio, SATA-300 port, CFast socket, Digital I/O. Moreover, one full-size PCI Express mini card with mSATA supported and one half-size mini PCI Express mini card. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps the system running smoothly. The platform runs well with Windows 7 and 8 operating systems.
