The ARS-7235-PSE-AC is capable of operating in different modes, which makes it suitable for a wide variety of wireless applications including long-distance deployments. The unit also allows the user to position the wireless antennas in a better signal-broadcasting location for improved wireless coverage and signal strength or simply in a more convenient location. Dual 2.4 and 5GHz radios enable a greater range of connectivity with reduced interference. It offers standard encryption and security protocols like WEP, WPA, WPA2, TKIP, and AES. It has two adjustable MIMO antennas that allow IT professionals to squeeze every inch of reliable range from their coverage. It has two Gigabit Ethernet ports with 1x PoE+/PSE port (30W).

ConnectVPN, developed by Antaira, is a cloud-based Virtual Private Network (VPN)  for their wireless access points, including the ARS-7235-PSE-AC.
