A single 2.4 and 5 GHz radio enables a range of connectivity with reduced interference. It offers standard encryption and security protocols like WEP, WPA, WPA2, TKIP, and AES. It has two adjustable MIMO antennas that allow IT professionals to squeeze every inch of reliable range from their coverage. Two Fast Ethernet ports with help eliminate the need for extra switches and enable a more efficient design.

The AMS-7131-AC meets IEEE 802.11ac, a.k.a., Wireless AC or AC WiFi. The embedded Qualcomm-Atheros QCA9892 chipset is fully compatible with previous 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi standards. With a wireless data rate up to 867 Mbps, it’s nearly 3x faster than the typical speeds attributed to 802.11n devices such as the AMS-7131.
