The LEP-301M-KIT from Antaira Technologies is a cost-effective way to extend an Ethernet run beyond the 100-meter limitation. Using near-end (LEP-301M-TX) and far-end (LEP-301M-RX) transceivers, the units lengthen the transmission distance over a twisted-pair line to 1000 meters (1 km). The LEP-301M-KIT supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to deliver data and 25.5 watts of power to a device at the remote end. IP-based devices such as surveillance cameras, Wi-Fi access points, alarms, gate controllers, digital signage, and sensors can benefit from this technology. 

The kit is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3af/at standards. LEDs and a 7-segment display located on the top, front, and rear panels monitor operational status, PoE power level, and diagnostics. A convenient four-position DIP switch controls the Ethernet port mode. The LEP-301M transceivers are powered from the PoE input port or a separate DC power supply connected to the terminal blocks. The LEP-301M-KIT includes DIN-rail and wall mounting brackets.
