The Ericsson Cradlepoint R980 router provides reliable wireless communications for enterprise, retail, and business networks. It features 5G LTE with Gigabit-Class throughput, WiFi 6, and GPS, requiring seven antennas.

To maximize the R980’s wireless capacity, we offer high-performance Ericsson Cradlepoint-approved combination antennas. A combo-antenna also called a multi-antenna, is a single dome housing several integrated antenna elements.

Antenna Configuration

The 5G-optimized R980 includes seven total antenna connections - 4x4 MIMO cellular, MIMO WiFi 6, and GPS. With Gigabit-class LTE speed and IEEE 802.11ax WiFi, the R980 provides incredible bandwidth.

Massive data requires massive antennas, and these antennas can handle it. A 7-in-1 LTE antenna like the Parsec Husky PRO7H perfectly match the R980. The Panorama LGMDM4-6-60-24-58 LTE and GPS antenna is another excellent choice.

Each antenna comes with a set of low-loss cables with various lengths, so the antenna may be located where signal reception is best. Mounting brackets and magnetic bases are available to secure the antenna on a pole or wall. Many of these multi-antennas are designed to withstand outdoor locations and harsh environments
