The MAX-HD2-MBX-5G (HD2 MBX) is a quad cellular mobile powerhouse with redundant SIM slots and multi-radio capabilities providing speed, reliability, and coverage by combining the best of 5G and LTE. The compact form factor allows it to be deployed in a wide variety of situations such as vehicles, vessels, and branch networks. Its compatibility allows for upgradable modules for further customization to suit any deployment needs. Whether you need speed or cost-effectiveness, use Traffic Steering to guide each packet to the most suitable connection.
The HD2 MBX has a rated throughput of 2.5 Gb/sec. It supports a 4 Gb/sec downlink data rate and a 700 Mb/sec uplink data rate per modem. If the HD2 MBX cannot receive a 5G network, it can receive LTE CAT-20 network with a 2 Gb/sec downlink data rate and 150 Mb/sec uplink data rate per modem. The HD2 MBX 5G comes with 2 x cellulars, 3 x Ethernet WANs, 2 x USB WANs, and Wi-Fi-as-WAN.
The HD2 MBX technology goes way beyond GPS tracking. It provides Dead Reckoning, an upgrade feature to standard GPS tracking. Dead Reckoning will automatically estimate your current route and fill in the gaps in your course based on your speed, direction, distance, and last position. Dead Reckoning provides accuracy, stability, and secure GPS tracking, putting you back to control.
This product comes with a one-year limited warranty. It can be extended with the purchase of EssentialCare/EssentialCare+. EssentialCare includes InControl, warranty with standard RMA, firmware updates, and technical support. Compare the Peplink Care Plans and select one that fits you and your deployment needs.
Enable your MAX-HD2-MBX-5G with a cost-effective data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. To enable cellular connectivity, at least one activated SIM card with an active cellular data plan is needed. Call Westward Sales for information.
