The Peplink MAX-HD1-DOM-PRO-5G (MAX HD1 Dome Pro) is a single 5G cellular router with redundant SIM slots. By adding a Wi-Fi interface to the MAX HD1 Dome Pro, it is now able to provide Wi-Fi AP and Wi-Fi WAN features with Wi-Fi 6. It is able to minimize cable loss by optimizing cellular signal quality with its integrated GPS antenna, 4x4 MIMO cellular antennas, and 2x2 MIMO WiFi antennas. This makes it a great choice for maritime and transport connectivity. The MAX HD1 Dome Pro is also able to provide scalability and ease in your deployment and management. You can install as many Domes as you want for extra cell data transmission, and combine the Domes into a mega-bandwidth channel, offering the fastest and most reliable internet connection. The scalability of the MAX HD1 Dome Pro is suitable for mobile healthcare and remote site connections. For outdoor applications, the MAX HD1 Dome has a waterproof IP67 enclosure that can withstand dust, vibration, and inclement weather. The rugged metal IP67 enclosure and certifications allow it to be deployed in a wide variety of situations. The device comes with 1 cellular modem and Wi-Fi-as-WAN.
The MAX HD1 Dome Pro supports a theoretical 4Gb/sec downlink data rate and a 700Mb/sec uplink data rate. If the MAX HD1 Dome Pro cannot connect to a 5G network, it can still receive LTE CAT-20 signals with a 2GB/sec downlink data rate and a 150Mb/sec uplink data rate.
The simple design of the Peplink MAX-HD1-DOM-PRO-5G offers a multitude of installation options. The HD1 Dome Pro includes an M35 screw mount and Ethernet splitter, making it easy for wall or pole mount. If mounting is not needed, simply connect an Ethernet cable and it’s good to go.
Both the MAX HD1 Dome Pro and Peplink’s antennas work well in remote areas. The main difference between incorporating the MAX HD1 Dome Pro and a Peplink antenna to your work setup is the bandwidth requirements: The MAX HD1 Dome Pro can be scaled up according to your bandwidth requirements. With the functionality of a cellular router, antenna, and access point, it fulfills your need for bandwidth and wireless connectivity. The deployment of the Peplink MAX-HD1-DOM-PRO-5G is very easy and flexible, and its embedded antenna also ensures there is no cable loss in your entire network. If you already have enough bandwidth in your current network and need extra signal reception, a Peplink antenna is your best choice. Peplink antennas provide the best signal reception and better coverage area. It can enhance the strength of your existing network bandwidth.
With the optional SIM Injector, the MAX HD1 Dome Pro can support up to 10 SIM at your fingertips. Simply connect an Ethernet cable between the SIM Injector and the HD1 Dome Pro. The SIM Injector is capable of PoE output, so you don’t need to add another PoE switch to your deployment.
The Peplink MAX-HD1-DOM-PRO-5G comes with a one-year limited warranty. It can be extended with the purchase of EssentialCare/EssentialCare+.
