The Mobile Mark PSKN4-W6E device antenna is designed to meet IEEE 802.11ax standards and includes the new band 6.125 - 7.125 GHz, recently released by the FCC as WiFi 6e. This rubber duck style device antenna also covers 5.850 - 5.895 GHz, which was repurposed by the FCC for unlicensed commercial uses such as WiFi. It was previously allocated to DSRC for connected vehicle technologies. The WiFi 6e standard allows for MU-MIMO ( multi-user, multiple-input and multiple-output ). MU-MIMO allows multiple data streams to be transmitted from the router to the connected devices which increases the data rate significantly. As such, this antenna could be one of the multiple antennas on a WiFi 6e modem, or it could operate as a stand-alone antenna where a single channel is called for. Typical applications include: WiFi Hotspots, WiFi Routers, Access Points for WiFi, and Smart City WiFi.
The Knuckle Swivel feature of the antenna allows it to be adjusted into one of three different angles: straight, 45° bend or 90° bend. Overall dimensions are 6 3/8” ( 161 mm ) at full length, with a blade antenna that is 7/8” ( 22 mm ) wide by .28” ( 7 mm ) deep.
The PSKN4-W6E terminates with a Reverse Polarity SMA Plug or an SMA Plug connector. The Reverse Polarized SMA fits most WiFi applications.
