As Public Safety, Fleet Management, and Public Transportation applications have grown, so has the need for reliable, high-performance mobile antennas. The MXG945 from Mobile Mark offers wideband operation for cellular, WiFi, and GPS networks. IP67 certified for water and dust ingress, it stands up to demanding conditions and weather. The MXG945 antenna also meets military and industrial shock and vibration testing to increase its longevity and dependability.
Constructed to exceed expectations, the MXG945 provides a sleek, compact, and versatile alternative to multiple antenna options. The rugged antenna radome packs in four 5G Sub-6 LTE antennas, five WiFi 6E antennas, and one GNSS antenna. The MXG945 provides MIMO (multiple-input-multiple-output) coverage for cellular and WiFi. The LTE 5G-ready antenna element operates on 617-960 and 1400-7200 MHz frequency ranges, covering global cellular bands. It supports the new CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) at 3.55-3.7 GHz and Band 71 at 617-698 MHz in the USA. In addition, GNSS operates on GPS, Galileo, Glonass, QZSS, or Beidou at 1561, 1575, and 1602 MHz.
The MXG945 elements all fit in this slim tapered radome that measures only 9″ long x 2.5″ wide by 2.6″ tall (22.9 cm x 6.4 cm x 6.6 cm). The antenna housing is a stylish combination of sleek, compact, and versatile design that comes in black or white. Nine cables 15-foot low-loss cables mounted to the bottom and surface mounting offer straightforward integration. The standard connectors are SMA male for 5G and GNSS and RP-SMA for Wi-Fi. All jumper cables have SMA Female connectors. FAKRA connectors are also available. The MXG945 is ideal for public safety and emergency vehicles and the narrow footprint fits the roof ribs of the Ford Police Interceptor.
