Westward WSTK-HU Gateway Provides a 4G LTE Cellular Connection for the Hunter Hydrawise®

Remote access to your central irrigation control system has never been more convenient. The WSTK-HU industrial gateway adds wireless connectivity to your existing Hunter Hydrawise® controller. With cellular connectivity to the Internet, you can access your Hydrawise® to control watering activity, monitor status, view alerts, and get diagnostic information from nearly any location. Wireless control of irrigation systems with WiFi and cellular benefits contractors and owners. Manage multiple stations from a smartphone, tablet, or web browser to dramatically increase their efficiency. The WSTK-HU is ideal for areas beyond the standard range of Wi-Fi.

Manage all Devices from a Single Platform

A user-friendly cloud-based web portal allows you to monitor fielded gateways from one dashboard. You may activate and deactivate data plans, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, view data consumption, remotely connect your devices, and manage billing. Our platform, based on RevX Systems, allows you to manage gateways with different carriers such as AT&T and Verizon.

Why Monthly Billing?

A month-to-month subscription offers flexibility and savings, enabling you to disable a device’s data plan when that system is not in service. This feature is exceptionally cost-effective for agricultural and seasonal applications where systems are shut down for winter. In addition, there are no extra charges for roaming, activation, deactivation, platform usage, or out-of-hours usage. Monthly overage fees do apply, however.

Operation

  • The WSTK-HU connects to the Hunter Hydrawise® controller through WiFi
  • Power the box with standard AC
  • Use your online web portal to enable/disable your device and view your data plan
  • Position your gateway for the best WiFi and cellular signal reception:
    • Place the gateway in a central area.
    • Keep the gateway away from metal obstructions and away from direct sunlight.
    • Keep the gateway away from transmitters such as Wi-Fi devices, Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, transformers, heavy-duty motors, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, refrigerators, and other industrial equipment to prevent signal interference or loss.
