Designed for branches that require the higher performance of 5G and the flexibility of wireless, the Ericsson Cradlepoint W1850 5GC Wideband Indoor Adapter ushers in the next generation of Wireless WAN networking. The W1850 is designed to accommodate the diverse spectrums, multiple generations, and breadth of new technologies introduced in 5G while delivering enterprise-class standards of scalability, comprehensive management, and security.
The Ericsson Cradlepoint W1850 5GC adapter is purpose-built for deployment in the new high-performance low - mid-band 5G spectrum. To address the tradeoff of lower propagation, Ericsson Cradlepoint designed the W1850 adapter to be placed separately from the router for optimal signal reception. The stylized W1850 adapter is designated for optimal indoor placement.
While the performance of 5G is top of mind, the W1850 was also designed with enterprise-class standards for high scalability, comprehensive management, and security. Because 5G is a collection of new spectrum, new technologies, and new network infrastructure that is rolling out over several years, the Ericsson Cradlepoint 5G edge networking service and endpoints accommodate the diverse deployments of an organization with hundreds or even tens of thousands of sites.
Ericsson ’s NetCloud Branch plan unlocks the power of 5G/LTE and provides optimal performance and reliability. It is a service-based platform that spans from cloud to edge to make deploying and managing a wireless WAN easier than ever before. Centrally configure, monitor, visualize, control, and troubleshoot your network from a web console rather than at the device.
NetCloud is sold in a one, three, or five-year subscription plan and includes 24x7 support, online training, support, and a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the W1850. In addition, the NetCloud Advanced option adds features such as data traffic analytics, firewall, and URL content filtering.

Enable your W1850 with a cost-effective monthly data plan to ensure your router is ready to deploy. Select Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T, and the data plan size from 100 MB to Unlimited GB. You are billed monthly; there’s no long-term contract. Plus, manage all of your fielded gateways from a single cloud-based web portal.

The W1850 includes four LTE antennas. For mobile and industrial applications, consider the high-performance antennas listed on this page: 4-in-1 (MIMO LTE) antennas. Most come with low-loss RF cables and mounting brackets, allowing you to position the antenna for the best reception.
