The PIM100 is an expansion board from Axiomtek that adds 8 programmable RS-232/422/485 serial ports to your ICO500-518 computer. The serial ports are isolated against voltage spikes and transients. Four terminal blocks on the front panel accept 4-wire serial lines. The PIM100 slides into a PIM (Plug-in I/O Module) slot and secures to the rail with two thumbscrews.
