Axiomtek GOT3157W-111-PCT Fanless 15.6-inch Touch Panel Computer with Energy-Efficient AMD T56N CPU

Traditional computers most often use an air-flow based cooling solution to keep internal components from overheating; however, this practical solution creates more problems than it solves when working in an industrial setting. Things like dust, debris, humidity, and fluids can work their way inside a computer through the air vents which spells an early end for the device. To work around this problem, heavy-duty touch panel PCs like the Axiomtek GOT3157W-111-PCT use a fanless cooling solution making it an ideal device for factory automation and self-service kiosks. This thermal design allows the panel PC to work in harsh temperatures as low as -10°C and as high as +45°C. The lack of airflow helps the emended computer operate under extreme humidity conditions with relative humidity as high as 90 percent at 40°C. When coupled with CompactFlash data storage instead of a traditional hard drive, a fanless system contributes to an operational vibration capability of up to 2.0 G at 10 to 500Hz.

The GOT3157W-111-PCT brings capable graphics display and a power-efficient CPU to the industry front lines. The human machine interface (HMI) computer features a dual-core 1.65 GHz AMD G-series processor and integrated AMD GFX-Radeon HD6320 graphics. This hardware is suited to handle applications with a focus on presentation over raw processing power while requiring only 51 watts of power consumption. The embedded computer supports up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM.

The GOT3157W-111-PCT features a spacious and accurate touch screen. It includes a capacitive multi-touch screen for precise control – ideal for customers ordering items from a retail kiosk. The 15.6-inch display gives options, buttons, and graphics room to breathe allowing for larger, easier-to-hit touch targets. The screen displays sharp and bright images thanks to its 1366 by 768 pixel resolution and 400 nits brightness rating.
