The panel PC features a 21.5-inch 1080p TFT LCD that's equipped with a highly-accurate multi-point capacitive touch screen. This display can detect up to 10 points of simultaneous interaction. An accidentally tool bump or an overzealous customer who thinks pens work on touchscreens won't cause permanent damage.

The GOT3217WL-845-PCT packs a lot of power for only needing 48 watts to run. The computer's quad-core 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium processor with integrated graphics runs the show and supports up to 8GB of DDR3L RAM. This capable CPU can take advantage of the touch panel's high resolution. The quad-core CPU makes this device well-suited to handle multi-threaded applications and run multiple simultaneous programs without hindering the primary application's performance.

The scratch-resistant screen isn't the only part of the GOT3217WL-845-PCT designed to protect itself. The touch panel features a fanless cooling design and an IP65 front bezel.  The sealed bezel prevents internal damage and corrosion by keeping out humidity, dust, and debris.  It operates comfortably in temperatures between 0°C and 45°C. It also withstands relative humidity between 20 and 90 percent at 40°C. This human machine interface (HMI) computer mitigates vibration up to 1G at 10 through 500 Hz with a SATA hard disk drive.

The GOT3217WL-845-PCT features two built-in 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired network connectivity. If your operation can't run a wired network connection to where the panel PC is installed, you can add Wi-Fi or 3G wireless network connectivity via the two PCI Express Mini card slots.
