Axiomtek FAB118 High Bandwidth PICMG 1.3 Backplane for I/O Intensive Applications

The FAB118 is a 14-slot, ATX-supported, PICMG 1.3 bus passive industrial backplane designed for use with a System Host Board (SHB) or single board computer (SBC) in industrial PC chassis. It is primarily used in industrial automation, medical imaging, and other applications requiring high reliability and expansion capabilities.

It offers one PCIe x16 slot, five PCIe x4 slots and seven 32bit/33MHz PCI slots as well as the PICMG 1.3 slot for the SHB (system host board). The onboard 24-pin ATX power connector and 8-pin connector for the thermal detected board are featured. Furthermore, the backplane supports two high-speed USB 2.0 ports. The FAB118 is designed for the 14-slot industrial chassis, such as Axiomtek’s AX61400 and AX6156LE.
