Antaira Technologies' MSC-202ALP1 is a low-profile PCIe serial card that offers 2 RS-232 serial ports and 1 parallel port. Compatible with the 16C950 UART, it provides high-performance bi-directional serial communication at top speed while reducing CPU overhead. It’s ideal for expanding serial and parallel ports in a desktop or server. The card is fully PCIe Plug-and-Play compatible with no IRQ and I/O address conflicts. The RS-232 ports supply 5V or 12V power over pin-9. The x1 PCIe interface is scalable and backward compatible with PCI applications and drivers.
