Coupled with a PoE injector, it’s hard to imagine a single media converter offering a broader range of options.
The industrial-rated IMP-100A converts WDM single-mode fiber to Fast Ethernet. It accepts one strand of single-mode fiber that carries transmit (TX) and receive (RX) signals of different wavelengths. It’s capable of bidirectional communication over a distance of 20 kilometers. The Power over Ethernet (PoE) injects up to 15 watts to various types of Powered Devices allowing you to connect them to an existing fiber network.
The IMP-100A is impressively tough. It features a rugged case and DIN-rail mounting brackets. It conforms to FCC emissions and UL safety and offers reliability for the most intense industrial environments. It resists electrostatic shocks, power surges, and extreme temperatures.
